This replacement carbon brush is designed for Eureka and Sanitaire upright vacuum motors. Carbon brushes provide the electrical contact needed for motor operation and wear down with regular use.
Signs of worn carbon brushes include sparking near the motor, reduced suction, burning smell, or intermittent power. Replace brushes promptly when worn to prevent permanent motor damage.
