This washable pre-motor filter protects the motor in your Dyson canister vacuum from dust and debris that passes through the cyclone system. A dirty pre-motor filter restricts airflow and forces the motor to overheat, shortening its lifespan. Since this filter is washable, simply rinse under cold water and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
