This heavy duty anticlogging pre-filter (SKU TDFILN05) is a Gore-Tex replacement filter built for HD series central vacuum power units. The Gore-Tex membrane is made to shed dust instead of letting it pack into the media, so airflow stays high and the filter resists clogging under heavy debris loads.
As the primary barrier ahead of the motor, a clean pre-filter protects the motor and keeps suction strong on demanding jobs. Fit it to HD series heavy-duty central vacuums as a direct replacement.
