Returns & Exchanges

This genuine Hoover 304285001 pre-motor filter fits the dirt cup of compatible Multi-Cyclonic canister vacuums. It filters incoming air before it reaches the motor. Includes one filter, not a multipack or filter set.

Is this the exhaust filter?

No. Part 304285001 is the pre-motor dirt-cup filter. The separate post-motor exhaust filter is part 304286001. These serve different locations and are not interchangeable.

Cleaning and care

Unplug the vacuum before removing the filter. Gently tap out loose dust, then rinse with water no warmer than 40°C (104°F). Do not use detergent or boiling water. Air-dry for at least 24 hours and until completely dry before reinstalling. Never operate the vacuum without its filter in place.
